Green Mountain Bomb Shelter

A bomb shelter under a mountain with a depth of more than 50 meters.

As a rule, such protective constructions are tunnels and drifts equipped for the presence of people through the mountain, rock, or other elevation. The structure of this shelter differs from the classic scheme. It has two entrances from the street, arranged in a U-shape, where you can enter the structure through four gateways.

A scheme for clarity:

Let's start here. This entrance is for entering and exiting the shelter in case of surface contamination. The other three entrances do not have sanitary gates.

Between the first and second plumpy doors is the sanitary entrance. It is a dark, narrow looping corridor with three hermetic doors and showers.

We open the second plumpy door and three smaller hermetic doors and enter the technical rooms.

Combo!

First of all, comes the artesian well.

The water pumping systems are fine.

Air heat exchange systems.

All that's left of the generator is its base.

The fuel and oil tanks are still here.

We come to the first right turn into the electricity room.

After walking a few meters straight, you find yourself in the corridor from the second entrance. On the sides are the toilets.

The main hall for the people. At this point, the shelter has a maximum deep about 50 meters.

Under the ceiling, you can see the air ventilation tubes. Where do they come from?

We will get the answer to this question by going through the pump room.

Here is the filter-ventilation unit.

The air for filtration is taken from the entrance tunnel.

If you go further, you can exit through the third entrance to the shelter.

Let's go to the other shelter rooms.

There are beds, but no wooden planks for them.

These halls are arranged one after the other, parallel to the first one mentioned above. Each is separated by hermetic doors, but no airlocks.

Storage room.

Let's take a closer look at the fourth exit.

The hermetic doors here are really cool!

The plumpies open with a hell of inertia.

We exit the shelter through the airlocks on the opposite side of the entrance.

Until we meet again!
