Railway Bunker

It's midnight. The two unidentified men meet downtown and go to a McDonald's to get something to eat before the night ahead. Dinner, a check of gear, and the friends head toward the target. The railway bunker.

 

Detouring around the security cameras, they make their way to the right street. They press the teleport button and find themselves ten meters underground, looking at the vent staples going up. A corridor bends twice and leads the urban explorers to a plumpy door.

The lights come on. The plumpy door is followed by two hermetic doors.

Communication room.

A Vega encryption machine is preserved.

Working places.

Special room for important phone calls.

Alas, the shelter is almost completely cleared out of its equipment.

After the collapse of the USSR, the wires and lights were renewed here, and the inscriptions on the doors were changed. Also, the telephone line for special communications is still maintained.

The corridor runs through the bunker, going from one exit to the other.

Toilet.

Another empty room.

Let's go back and look at the filter-ventilation unit.

Pre-filters, heat exchangers, air regeneration unit, and air compressor.

There is one closed door left in the structure. Behind it is a communications line.

Surprisingly it still works.

An interesting device with a manometer. It is designed to maintain excess pressure in the cable to detect a person trying to connect to it.

The entrance to the facility looks more interesting than the emergency exit. It has a direct passageway and a sanitary passageway. Hermetic doors with overpressure valves.

And, of course, another plumpy door.

A long corridor. The exit to the Ministry of transport?

Walking to the left, the urbexers saw the boiler room. A box in the corridor stored coal.

One emergency entrance. In case someone is late.

A second plumpy door separates the generator room from the outside world.

The generator's gone.

The corridor continues.

To the right is the second emergency exit to the vent. To the left goes a corridor, even longer than the one into which the hermetic doors exit.

Turn to the right… 

And a 200-meter tunnel spreads to the distance, leading to the Ministry of transport. The long bench is probably for the ministry's regular employees since the corridor is isolated from the street.

The corridor ends with a sealed door. What remains behind it is not worth checking.

The night ends, and so does this post. Two unidentified men are heading to the exit.
